GOT GUTS?
Prayer changes things....

Exodus 32:9-15 (Amplified Bible)
9And the Lord said to Moses, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people;
10Now therefore let Me alone, that My wrath may burn hot against them and that I may destroy them; but I will make of you a great nation.
11But Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why does Your wrath blaze hot against Your people, whom You have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?
12Why should the Egyptians say, For evil He brought them forth, to slay them in the mountains and consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and change Your mind concerning this evil against Your people.
13[Earnestly] remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own self and said to them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.
14Then the Lord turned from the evil which He had thought to do to His people.
Pretty Gutsy Huh? That Moses would be bold enough to talk back to God after he had told him to step down off of the Mountain so that he (God) could bring his wrath against the Israelites and wipe them out but then make a great nation from Moses...
we can glean from this scriptural passage 2 messages...
The first one would be that if we are obedient to God and if we have a true relationship with God we can be bold enough to inquire things of him, as well as ask him to "change his mind" about how he is going to deal with things that may or may not affect us personally. if we have a true relationship with him he wants us to come to him not as strangers or "aliens" as he clearly states in Ephesians 2:19...
Ephesians 2:19 (Amplified Bible)
19Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God's [own] household.
I remind you though that you to be mindful to do this respectfully and not in anger or rebellion against Gods sovereign wisdom...in the end his choice is always the best choice because man cant see the total picture of Gods plan and wisdom our minds aren't capable of that...
Isaiah 55:8-9 (Amplified Bible)
8For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
secondly we can learn that God honors our requests when it comes to mercy for those that have done a wrong...remembering that God is Love, he is quick to restrain or make lighter his wrath against those that do wrong in his sight, if those that do serve him intercede for them, Jesus the greatest interceder of all times (see John 17:6-26 ) spoke earnestly to his Father about us and for us so that we might be closer to God...and have the ability to have a real relationship once again with our God.
I ask you...who are you praying for...what are you praying for? do you love them, or want bad enough, that your prayer be answered to dare to ask God for mercy on them or to make what you need to hapen, happen?? if so, I invite you to get into a real relationship with God and watch his love flow over all the areas of your life...and in doing so you can secure the mercy of God for all you love...for in the bible that is Gods promise for the saved, he will show you how to teach your family his message so that they may be saved as well...
Acts 11:14 (New Living Translation)
14 He will tell you how you and everyone in your household can be saved!’
remember...
John 3:15-16 (Amplified Bible)
15In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may [not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!
16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
God Bless you,
