Congratulations, You"You've Just Found The Help You've Been Looking For!
I am Rev. Ralph Eric Ramos my friends all call me Rock. When I first got that name I wasn't aware that it would come to mean the very essence of God's idea when he created me. R. O. C. K. stands for Rescuing Others through Christ's Kindness and that's what I have tried to do with my life even before realizing the calling God had on my life. I was a member of the NYC Emergency Medical Service from 1989 to 1996 when the mayor in office at the time Rudolph Giuliani saw fit to merge the NYC-EMS with the FDNY (New York City Fire Dept.) I was an Emergency Medical Technician for my whole 14 year career in the emergency services. The Morning of Sept. 11th 2001 would change that for the rest of my life. I was on the scene from the first plane hit until the last tower fell and then on into the night finally collapsing from debris inhalation and fatigue at around 9:30-10:P.M. I ended up in the NYU Downtown Hospital (Beekman hospital) E.R. where i was treated and then finally released to go home. I returned to my apartment that night and knew that having been saved form the collapses I was indebted to God and to the many wonderful people who tragically lost their lives that day. It was a hard time trying to come to terms with the loss of my friends and all the other innocents that i had seen perish that day and so i began suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, its something i still deal with tot this day. I made a promise to myself to try my best to help as many people as I could humanly help, and then count on God for the rest. My whole life has been full of Christ's kindness although at the time I didn't realize it. I recently had a motorcycle accident (no the rev. stands for Reverend not revving my engines) in which I was catapulted in to the back of a stopped vehicle shattering its rear windshield with my head (no I didn't have a helmet on either although I own 4 of them)resulting in 45 staples to hold the torn flesh together on my left temple top of head and forehead, I also broke my left foot and tore the ligaments in my right thumb leaving it less functional than before the accident and still I managed to come away relatively whole... THANKS TO CHRIST'S KINDNESS.
To Get Help Now...
Fortunately for you to get Christ's kindness you don't have to do crazy things like having buildings fall on you or crashing through stopped cars with your head... its way easier than that.
All you have to do to begin realizing his love for you, (and I say realizing his love for you because he has loved you from the moment of your very inception its just that a lot of us don't realize it). he loves you so much and knows you so well that he even knows the number of hairs on your head (Mathew 10:30). now if that isn't impressive i don't know what is.
To come to this realization simply say this prayer... or something similar to it in your own words so it has more meaning to you personally:
Lord I am aware of my sins. I am aware that you are a loving God and that you love the sinner but hate the sins they commit, so I ask you now my Lord that you forgive me of those sins I have done, and help me to not sin against you in the future. In the event that I do sin against you I pray that you help make me aware of it and be able to correct it and come to you for forgiveness. I want to let you know that I accept Jesus Christ your son and my savior as the Lord over my life, and I pray that he and I could form a friendship that is closer than any other i have ever known. that I get to know him as well as you both know me. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit and its power that you sent to be with mankind here on earth when Jesus Died and resurrected and then ascended to heaven. I accept you as real and true and your word "The Holy Bible" as truth, that is living and powerful for the instruction of your people in learning what is good and gratifying to you as well as what you are against. I thank you for your love. and I look forward to my new life in your grace... amen.

GREAT!! welcome to the family! if you haven't and are curious to learn more before you commit to God that's fine as well but I do hope you look into God and all he has to offer before you decide fully not to. all I ask is that you seek him with a sincere open mind and heart and he will see fit to fill you with his power, love and grace the same way he does all those who diligently seek him.
